Episode 2 of Life is Strange, titled Out of Time, continues Max Caulfield's journey through Blackwell Academy while providing ten unique optional photo opportunities. Finding every photograph allows players to fill Max's journal completely and unlock all achievement trophies associated with the chapter. Checking out daily gaming news can help players stay updated on narrative adventure game guides and hidden secrets.
Campus and Dormitory Photo Locations
The first photo opportunity appears right at the start of the episode inside the girls' dormitory. Head into Kate Marsh's room and snap a picture of her resident bunny, Alice, sitting inside her cage. Shortly after leaving the dorm, venture toward the courtyard to spot a squirrel eating near a trash can by the bench to capture the second shot.
Two Whale Diner Encounters
When Max arrives at the Two Whale Diner to meet Chloe, several optional photos become available in and around the establishment. Look at the diner's outdoor sign featuring a whale above the roof entrance to snap the third optional photo. Move around to the back alley of the diner to find a stray dog sitting near a fence, which serves as your fourth photographic target.
Exploring the Junkyard Secrets
Inside the diner's restroom, check the mirror to find graffiti that prompts the fifth photo interaction before heading to the junkyard. Once at the junkyard, locate the yellow school bus from an angle that reveals its side for the sixth picture. Wandering toward the rear section of the junkyard will reveal a majestic deer standing peacefully, giving you the seventh collectible moment.
Final Snapshots with Chloe
After shooting practice with Chloe in the junkyard, approach her while she lies on the hood of the car holding a gun to take the eighth photo. Heading back to Blackwell Academy, visit the science lab during Warren's experiment sequence for the ninth photo opportunity. Finally, snap the tenth photo inside the classroom by taking a picture of the dog outside the window before the episode concludes.
